INTRODUCTION

Clinical research is the field of medical science which tests, ensure safety and effectiveness of various medications, treatments, diagnostic methods. Their focus is on the prevention and treatment of a disease trough newly discovered medications and methods.

It is one of the main industries in healthcare sector in India. That is involved in drug research and development of new medicines to cure different diseases.

They ensure safety and efficiency of the new drug through various experiments done in 4 different phases that tests the safety of the drug, its effectiveness, and possibilities of any unavoidable side effects before it is ready to be sold and consumed publically.

WORK DESCRIPTION

  • To develop and write clinical protocols
  • Set up trial sites
  • Ensure trials are conducted as per rules and procedures
  • Monitor the trials
  • Review data for regulatory submissions
  • Prepare reports, presentations and Mnauscripts for publication
  • Coordinate with ethics committee to ensure research ethics are maintained
  • Develop forms an templates for data collection
  • Educate patients, Doctors and others about the research process.

 

ELIGIBILITY

  • Diploma in Clinical Research

Candidates should have completed their graduation in Medical Science courses (MBBS, BDS etc.) with 55% minimum aggregate.

                                       Or

Degree in Life sciences, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy etc. from a recognised university.

  • Sc in Clinical research

10=2 with Biology or Life Sciences as one of the main subjects with minimum 50% aggregate.

  • Sc in Clinical Research

Graduate or Post graduate from a recognised university in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany and Zoology)

-DOCTORS: M.B.B.S/ B.D.S/B.A.M.S/ B.H.M.S/ B.U.M.S/ B.S.S.M/B.V.Sc)

Bachelors in Physiotherapy, Pharmacists (B.Pharm, M.Pharm), Nursing Graduate.
